For decades, the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" has found its most vibrant expression through the Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) program. Since 1986, this community has raised over $200 million, including a record-breaking $18.7 million in 2024 alone. These funds aren’t just numberson a check; they are life-changing care for kids at local children’s hospitals, providing the urgently needed funds that allow kids to grow up strong.
As they look to the future of pediatric healthcare, Children’s Miracle Network is proud to unveil a new brand identity and a bold vision for the next two years: the Health For All Kids Impact Pledge.
A Simplified Name, A Stronger Mission
As part of their evolution, they have simplified their name to Children’s Miracle Network.This change reflects our role as an amplifier—a network that connects passionate partners like credit unions with the hospitals that need them most. While the look has refreshed, their core promise remains the same: 100% of funds raised through CU4Kids benefit the local children’s hospital. This ensures that when a credit union in Maryland, DC or Delaware raises a dollar, that dollar supports kids receiving care in those local communities.
The $1 Billion in Two Years Commitment
The needs of children's hospitals are growing. From specialized neonatal care to the rising demand for mental and behavioral health programs, the challenges facing families are more complex than ever. To meet this moment, CMN has launched the Health For All Kids Impact Pledge, a national effort to raise $1 billion in two years.
This pledge is the crux of our movement. It is an invitation for the entire credit union movement to join them in accelerating support for:
