A Unique View of Washington DC
What better way to see Washington DC than aboard a luxurious late luncheon cruise along the Potomac River?  An unforgettable tour awaits you on the only vessel designed to travel beneath DC's historic bridges, affording exclusive views of our country’s greatest monuments from every table.

Avoid the city's foot traffic and enjoy unobstructed views of the cherry blossoms in bloom, exquisite cuisine, live entertainment, an inviting dance floor and impeccable service from our own private cruise ship. For more information about this great event for the whole family, click here.

Experience a Miracle
At six months of age, Olivia Grace Jones was diagnosed with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition in which the heart's ability to pump blood is decreased because the heart's main pumping chamber, the left ventricle, is enlarged and weakened. After 296 days on the national transplant list, Olivia finally got the call: a heart was available for her!  Olivia received her new heart on September 25, 2005. Ten days after surgery, she was smiling and blowing kisses at the staff.  Today, she loves Barney and bubbles and has a joyful spirit and an infectious smile that has won the hearts of many at the hospitals where she has spent much of her young life.

Meet Olivia and other miraculous children during the annual pre-race press conference at Children's National Medical Center which sets the stage for the announcement of our fundraising results. Join patients for a festive craft hour prior to the official check presentation. For more information, click here.
