We are proud to offer a special fundraising tool to help supporters of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run®: an Individual/Team Donation site which enables participants and supporters to easily solicit donations from personalized web pages.
It is easy, fun, and has worked for other national charities such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Marine Corp Marathon.
Whether you are a Credit Union or partner sponsor; running individually or as part of a team; volunteering your time to race weekend; or a valued friend of this important cause; you can use our Individual/Team Donation site to help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network and your local Children’s Hospital.
Here’s how:
- Use the New Fundraisers/Sign Up area to create a micro donation site.
Anyone - whether running the ten miler or not - can create a fundraising page to accept donations to Children’s Miracle Network on behalf of themselves, their team or their credit union. Individuals can pit their fundraising skills against other participants and track their results. Teams can raise funds as a group or have each member create their own fundraising page to add another element of competition. And individual Credit Unions (or partner sponsors) can create corporate pages to solicit funds from their own sphere of influence, members and others within their community.
- Sponsor links direct visitors from your website to the donation form.
Link your members, customers, family or friends to this secure donation URL to accept direct donations via credit card. If you’ve established a personal or team page, visitors can easily search for individuals and groups to make sure their donation is credited properly.
- Use the Returning Fundraisers/Sign In area to manage your micro site.
Sign in to your personal fundraising page to edit your page and invite friends, family, members, customers and others to donate. A user-friendly template lets you send an email blast to everyone you know to engage them in this worthy cause.
And remember, all funds – whether collected by active race participants or conducted via “virtual” fundraising from our Miracle Day friends in other cities or states – count toward your Credit Union For Kids Children’s Miracle Network fundraising totals and benefit your hometown Children’s Hospital. |
