It's always gratifying to be able to do something in your own self-interest that also helps many others — like sponsoring the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.

Your participation and support helps the children served by the Children's Miracle Network hospitals — and it can also benefit the sponsor, especially a corporate sponsor that serves credit unions. Corporate sponsors raise their profiles in the credit union industry, on Capitol Hill, and within the community.

We reward and recognize credit unions, organizations, and individuals that become race sponsors in various ways depending on the level of their support:

Organization Sponsors
There are four levels of support available for affiliated vendor organizations providing additional opportunities for networking and industry exposure throughout the year.

Super Hero - $25,000

• Four FREE tickets to all race events (includes guaranteed race entries, premier seating at gala and on cruise)
• Invitation to all VIP events
• Special VIP photos
• Use of sponsor “Super Hero” logo
• Premier advertisement in all CUMD race publications (includes website, email newsletter and yearbook)
• Premier recognition at all events

Hero Sponsor - $10,000

• Two FREE tickets to all race related events (includes guaranteed race entries, gala and cruise)
• Use of sponsor “Hero” logo
• Advertisement in all CUMD race publications with logo (includes website and yearbook)
• Recognition at all events

Champion Sponsor - $ 5,000

• Two FREE guaranteed race entries
• Invitation to all race events
• Use of sponsor “Champion” logo
• Recognition in all CUMD race publications with logo (includes website and yearbook)
• Recognition at all events with logo

Friend Sponsor - $ 1,000

• Two FREE guaranteed race entries
• Invitation to all race events
• Use of sponsor logo
• Recognition in all CUMD race publications (includes website and yearbook)

Support at the "Super Hero" level (a contribution of $25,000 or more) clearly benefits a sponsor the most, but any contribution will be tax-deductible, whatever the amount.

Guaranteed race entries — and waived registration fees
There are always many more people who'd like to run in this race than we have places for. But we save each sponsor two places and waive the individual registration fees (a $52 savings).

The pre-race gala and auctions
This celebration, where sponsors are honored for their generosity, is for credit union sponsors and non-credit union sponsors alike. Both a silent and live auction add to the fun, not to mention fundraising totals!

Private cruise on the Potomac River
We’ve reserved an entire boat for our sponsors, family, friends and friends of the credit union movement. Enjoy a glass-topped ship with unobstructed views of the blossoms in bloom along with a gourmet late luncheon.

Recognition on mile markers
Mile markers along the race route display the names of race Super Hero and Hero sponsors.

Recognition in our yearbook
An ad, your logo or listing will get an organization's name in front of everyone who receives one of over 3,000 souvenir yearbooks we'll be distributing. The recipients will include not only credit unions involved in the race, but also every credit union we contact as we build support for the next one.

Recognition on our website
Another great place for a company serving credit unions to reach potential clients. Companies' ads are linked to their own websites. It's yet another opportunity for your sponsorship to help increase your company business.

Recognition in Our E-Newsletter
Throughout the year CUMD stays in touch with sponsors via an E-Newsletter. As it gets closer to Race Day, newsletters are sent weekly. They contain deadline reminders and key dates.
