Hottest Tickets in Town! Sponsor Guaranteed Race Entries Now Available

Credit union sponsors receive 10 (or more depending on need and availability) guaranteed race entry codes at the prevailing entry rates which are $42 for the 10 mile and $32 for the 5K Run-Walk for the April 12 event. The general public enters the race through a lottery system that is open between December 1 and December 12. Once the lottery closes and the race is sold out‚ the sponsor codes are the hottest ticket in town! Selling or raffling race entries to avid runners is a great way to raise money for the hospitals.

Volunteers Are Key to Success of Race — Register Your Volunteer Coordinator Today

The race depends on over 2‚000 volunteers to work at the Expo‚ water and food stations‚ bag tent‚ as course marshals‚ etc. This past year sponsoring credit unions and business partners sent over 600 hundred volunteers to help during race weekend.

Each volunteer receives a t-shirt and a transferable‚ guaranteed race entry code for the 2016 race.

Official Race Hotel Sells Out Quickly — Book Your Rooms Now

The race headquarters hotel is The Renaissance Washington‚ DC Downtown Hotel‚ 999 9th St.‚ NW‚ Washington‚ DC‚ and it is offering special race room rates of $189. The Renaissance is about 0.6 mile from the staging area on the Washington Monument Grounds and about 0.5 mile from the Health and Fitness Expo at the National Building Museum. The closest Metro stop to the hotel is the Gallery Place Metro stop on the Yellow, Green and Red lines. You can book your rooms at the Renaissance online or by phone by calling 800-228-9290 and asking for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile rate.

Don’t delay. Hotel space in Washington during cherry blossom season is very limited.
