Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc. was founded in 2001 and is a partnership of credit unions and partner organizations nationwide that have joined together to support the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), an international non-profit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals throughout North America.

In our efforts to support the 170 children's hospitals that treat over 17 million children each year, Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc. is sponsoring the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run^® through 2011 and beyond. Proceeds from the race and 100% of donations raised by credit unions and corporate supporters will benefit Children's Miracle Network.

The 2008 Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run will be held in Washington, D.C. on April 6th. This will be the seventh year that credit unions have held the title sponsorship for this event, which is held annually during the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. This race is very popular with credit union members - of the 10,000 runners in last year's race, more than half were members of credit unions.
